N’ubwo abantu benshi bakunda gushaka kubihishira cyangwa bagatinya kubivuga uko biri, ngo aha batagira uwo bakomeretsa, amakimbirane yateye ukurimburana kw’abantu mu Rwanda no mu Burundi yazanywe n’ingengabitekerezo ya Kalinga. Iyo ngengabitekerezo ya kirimbuzi kandi ishingiye cyanecyane ku guhanganisha k’ubwoko bubiri: abatutsi n’abahutu.  Intego ya Kalinga ni uko abatutsi bashyirwa hejuru y’andi moko, kandi bagategeka u Rwanda nk’akarima kabo, bagatsikamira andi moko nta mpuhwe, kugira ngo ubwoko bwabo busagambe. Kugira  kandi ngo hatazagira umuhutu utinyuka gushaka kwigaranzura iyo ngoma, abami ba Kalinga bashyizeho iterabwoba rigamije guhahamura abahutu, kuko bicwaga urubozo kandi ibishahu by’abami babo baneshejewe bigatamirizwa iyo ngoma, bityo bigahora bibabereye urugero  ko undi wese wazashaka kugerageza kwigomeka nawe azarangira ukonguko. Abatwa n’ubwo na bo babigizwemo ibikoresho, akenshi byabagwiririyeho nta ruhare runini babifitemo kandi na bo babigewamo ari benshi.

Kalinga yazanywe i Rwanda na Ruganzu, waje kurwigarurira aturutse i Karagwe mu gihe rwari  rumaze imyaka myinshi rwarigabijwe n’abashi. Welsing agaragaza ko kubera indangabuzima z’abazung izabo zidashobora kubyara umubiri ukora melanine, ziganzwa n’izandi moko. Melanine ni yo ituma uruhu rwacu rwurabura, kugira ngo rushobore kwikingira imirasire y’izuba ntidutwikire umubiri. Iyo wongeyeho rero ko abazungu b’abera ari bake mu mibare ugereranyije n’andi moko atuye ku isi ashobora gukora iyo melanine, wumva impamvu ituma bahora bahangayitse ko ubwoko bwabo bushobora kuzahona. Ibyo akaba ari byo bisobanura impamvu bashyizeho uburyo bwo gukandamiza andi moko yose nta mpuhwe, bakirinda kwivanga na yo, ngo atabaganza bakazazima.

Ingoma ya Kalinga na yo yakomeje gucengeza mu mitwe y’abatutsi hafi ya bose ko ubwoko bwabo buruta andi moko kandi ko bagomba kuyatsikamira nta mpuhwe. Na bo ngo ubu akaba ari bwo buryo babonye bwo kurengera ubwoko bwabo. Ibi si amagambo, ni akariho. Igitangaje ni uko iyo bivuzwe, icya mbere haba bariya bazungu (ku birebana na white supremacy) cyangwa abatutsi b’i Rwanda n’i Burundi, batera hejuru ngo barabeshyerwa, ngo nta tsikamira ryigeze ribaho, ngo nta moko ahaba, ngo twese turi bene mugabo umwe (Kanyarwanda). Ariko na none haba hatarashira akanya, ba batutsi b’i Rwanda bakinyuramo ngo abahutu bafite ingengabitekerezo ya genocide, ngo genocide yakozwe mu izina ryabo, ngo ni ibipinga, n’ibindi nk’ibyo byo kubogeraho uburimiro.

Abatutsi b’i Burundi bo bati “kugira ngo twemera kubana mu mahoro n’abahutu tugomba kugabana ubutegtso bwose bw’igihugu mo kabiri, buri bwoko bugahabwa igipimo kingana mu butegetsi bw’ingabo no mu nzego nkuru za leta”. Ibi iyo ubisesenguye neza usanga ari ubwikanyize ndengakamera, ariko ugasanga bitabatera isoni kubutsimbararaho ngo ni yo soko y’amahoro. Umuntu agereranyije akurikije ubwiganze bw’amoko mu gihugu, ni nk’uko waba ufite abana umunani n’inka umunani, waba ushaje ushaka kuzibaraga, umwe muri bo ati ‘ndafata enye abandi barindwi basigaye nabo bagabane enye zisigaye, nibitaba ibyo nzabarimbura zose zibe izanjye’. Ngayo amahoro yubakiweho inzego zose zishingiye ku masezerano ya Arusha hagati y’abatutsi n’abahutu b’i Burundi! Hagira uvuga ko ari ubwikanyize bukabije, bagatera hejuru ngo ni we uzaye ivanguramoko. Ese amahoro ashingiye ku guceceka ubusambo bwa bamwe mwumva yamara igihe kingana iki? Abatsikamiwe se bazabyihanganira kugeza ryari?

Umwanditsi  w’umunyamerika Herbert Dyer asobanura iby’ayo mayeri yo guhakana  agaragaza uburyo iyo abakandamiza bumvise havuzwe amabi yabo, aho kwireba mu ndorerwamo ngo barebe uko bayakosora, ahubwo batera hejuru  bavuga ko ari bo barenganywa buri gihe, bakaba nka ya mpyisi ikurira abana ikakurusha uburakari (abumvise abatutsi batabaza muri aya mezi ashize ngo isi yose nihaguruke, ingabo zámahanga zihurure i Burundi hagiye kuba genocide y’abatutsi, bumvise icyo nshaka kuvuga).  Dyer asobanura agira ati: Uko guhakana  ubwibone bwabo n’amahano bakora mu guhonyora andi moko ni nk’uburyo bwo kwikiza ihahamuka batewe no guhora bakora ayo mahano, mu gihe baba bahora batsikamiye abandi. Iyo hari ubibagaragarije rero, hahitamo kuvuga ko bitabayeho, kuko kubihakana ari byo bibafasha kwicengezamo ko ibyo bakora atari uburwayi.  N’iyo bemeye ko hari amateka mabi yabaye, bavuga ko ntaho bahuriye na yo, ko nta ruhare bayagizemo:

“among whites, acceptance, perpetuation and especially denial of white supremacy are of a  piece- a mental defense piece- or mechanism. White supremacy is a way of coping with an ongoing sense of ‘cognitive dissonance’. I have often wondered how white people can look themselves in the mirror each day, knowing their bloody legacy wherever they have trod on this earth. It is safer, easier and [it] keeps them relatively sane (sic) to deny that history occurred at all, or, even if it occurred, [the claim is] that they had nothing to do with it” (sic).

Uwakumva uburyo ingoma ya RPF  (Kalinga nshya) n’umwami wayo Kagame bavuga amateka mabi y’u Rwanda, ariko abayateje bazana ubuhake n’ubwicanyi bakabagira abere, ntiyatinda  kwiyumvisha ko ishuli rya Kalinga n’irya white supremacy ari rimwe.

Ingengabitekerezo ya Kalinga, kimwe na white supremacy ikomeza kuyogoza ibintu n’abantu, kandi ntishobora kwihagarika ubwayo cyangwa ngo ikemurwe mu biganiro kuko ba nyirayo bazahora bayihakana. Ikizatuma rero ikibazo cya Kalinga kidakemuka mu nzira zisanwe, ni uko abafite iyo ngengabitekerezo bayigisha abana babo mu ibanga, bagahora bameze nk’abari mu ntambara igamije gukoea ku buryo iyo ngengabiteherezo itazima. Kandi rero aho bigeze, n’ubwo abana barerwa neza mu ngo zabo, ubutegetsi n’umuco Kalinga iba yaramaze gusakaza mu gihugu n’uburyo ibushyiramo indobanure zishingiye kuri iyo ngengabitekerezo, bituma abayivukiyemo bose bayikorera ibituma ikomeza gusagamba, ikibazo cy’ubwikanyiza aho koroha kikarushaho  kugenda gikomera.

Hari abashobora kunsubiza ko iyo ngengabitekerezo nta hantu hazwi yigishirizwa. Kubera ko nk’uko nanditse hejuru iyi myifatire y’ubwikanyize yigishirizwa mu bwiru, ikagendana buri gihe kandi no guhishahisha no guhakana, mushobora kwibaza muti: “ese, iby’uko kwikanyiza uvuga ko bigisha abana babo, ni byo koko” ? Abibaza ibyo, niba batarumvise ibyigishirizwa mu ngando z’indobanure, nabasubiza nifashishije amagambo y’undi munyamerikakazi (w’umwera) Jane Elliot, na we wazobereye mu by’itsikamizwa ry’abirabura rikorwa n’abera. Umwanditsi w’amateka Titus Livius avuga ko abo bagore bamaze kwitambika hagati ya basaza babo n’abagabo babo, impande zombi zabuze ikindi zakora, ari Abasabini ari n’Abaromani banga kwihekura, baremera bahagarika intambara bagabana ubutegetsi. Umwami w’Abasabini Titus Tatius asangira ingoma n’umwami w’Abaromani, kuva ubwo barabana barasabana.

Dukurikije uburyo abatutsi bashyingiranye n’abahutu igihe kirekire rero, haba mu Rwanda cyangwa mu Burundi, bizwi ko umubare w’abatutsikazi bashakanye n’abahutu ari munini.  Urukundo ruhebuje rwaranze ugushakana hagati y’abahutu n’abatutsikazi rwanagaragaye kandi mu gihe amahano yo kurimburana hagati y’abahutu n’abatutsi yagwiriraga igihugu muri 1994, maze mu turere interahamwe zayogoje, abahutu benshi bekemera kwicanwa n’abagore babo b’abatutsikazi aho kubatererana ababishoboye bakabakiza, no mu turere inkotanyi zayogozaga abatutsikazi na bo bakemera kwizirika ku bagabo babo b’abahutu, bakabarwanaho aho kwemera gupfakazwa.

Aho igihugu kigeze rero, byaba byiza urwo rukundo rwaduhuje igihe kirekire ari rwo rwongeye kutubera ikiraro cy’ubwiyunge nyakuri mu Rwanda no mu Burundi. Birumvikana neza kandi ko nta bundi bwicanyi bushobora kongera kuba mu gihe ubwiyunge bwaba bwubakiye kuri urwo rukundo, kuko nk’uko uwatwibarukiye republika, nyakubahwa Geregori Kayibanda yabivugaga, kurwanya urugomo si ugutwikira sobukwe. Maze aho gukomeza kwihekura, abahutu n’abatutsi bakwiye kwemera kugirira urubyaro bahuriyeho, bagasangira ibyiza by’igihugu nta wikanyiza, indwara yo guhora mu bwiru n’uburimanganya na yo ikarangirira aho, ntizongera kumunga igihugu ukundi.
